Recently one of my friend in another class is depressed. Her mother was in an accident about three weeks ago in her hometown Johor. I knew it because she attend public speaking classes with me and she is also staying in hostell. I am so sorry for her because her mother  was over fifty years old and our final exams was due on next week. Her mother is now still in hospital and my friend couldn't concentrate on her studies and had to miss some classes to go back to her hometown to take care of her mother. I couldn't do anything to help her. I can only comfort her each time i saw her .Yesterday in public speaking classes, she talked with me about her mother and I could see tears rolling in her eyes. The sight makes me feel like crying too.If only I can do something to help her.

Michael Landon, an American actor once said that the moment we are born, we are already walking towards death. Therefore, we have to treat our life whole heartedly and make good use of our life every moment. Time, are actually strung together with many numerous "present". Every seconds every minutes and every hour bring the seeds of perseverance.There are many people who longed for life longevity, however I think that it is more important to live better rather than longer.

Life is unexpected.

Last day Public Speaking Class, Ms. Sawcheng who is our lecturer let us have a two minutes speech in five minutes preparation. She gave us two chances, the first one is a practice for us to be familiar with the time limit and get feeling in the speech, and the second one is for our real speech.

The first topic I picked is to persuade the college student should have a one day holiday in their birthday. I can only have a little points that when I having my speech I just can speaking for 30 seconds, and paused for 10 seconds not talking anything. I felt so nervous and cannot look at my audiences. Then I made a conclusion and quickly went back to my seat. When I went back to my seat, Ms. Sawcheng and my classmates told me what I could talk about this topic and made me feel not really nervous.

The second topic which is for my real speech is "In what situation lying is a good idea?" I have many ideas of this, because when I feel not good and do not want others to worry about me, I will lie to them saying I good, not bad or others. So I pretent to have a call from my mom and tell her I'm so good instead of I have many troubles in that time. Then tell my audiences that the reason why we have to lie sometimes, and the example in my experience. This time, I felt very fluently, and had my speech finished.

After this class, I'm not really scared to speak in front of many people. So thankful to these.

Red

Who is she? She is Hong Yi in Chinese and she called herself Red because the word "hong" means red. She is an artist but the special thing about her is she does not like to paint with brushes. She likes to grab whatever she can holds of like seeds, coffee, ketchup, balls and many others that no one know these little things can actually be used in paintings other than their ordinary uses.

What surprised me is this talented woman is a local. She was born and raised in Borneo, which was an island in Sabah. She was than graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia with a Master of Architecture degree in December 2010 and a Bachelor of Planning and Design degree in December 2007. She archived the Melbourne Abroad Scholarship and studied in Technical University of Delft in Netherlands in her final year. She is now working in Shanghai as an architect for Hassell.

Red or Hong Yi amazed the world by painting Jay Chou with coffee and painting famous basketballer Yao Ming with just a basketball. She had won many awards recently like AA prizes for Unbuilt Works in year 2010 and she was the national finalist in SONA Superstudio competition in 2009 and 2010.

I truly feel proud of her as Red is a woman and she is a 100% Malaysian.

Today, I cook a desert. It is tong shui with papaya, tremella and lotus seed.

Firstly, soaked the dried tremella, cleaned in clearly and cut it in some small pieces.

Secondly, put the tremella into a pot, and put cold water in it too.

Thirdly, used the medium heat to boil water. When it boiled, turned to the  soft fire and kept the water in a the state of boiling slightly,

Then, cleaned the papaya, removed the seeds, and cut it in small square pieces.

Next, when boiled tremella for forty minutes, put the papaya into the pot, and kept boiling for twenty minutes.

Finally, put the crystal sugar into the pot, kept boiling until the sugar melted.

Bukit Gambang Water Park

Few months ago, me and my friends went Kuantan during holiday and we also went to Bukit Gambang water park. The water park is quite far away from the town, it took us almost 1 hour to reach there.
The ticket for adult is RM28 while children is Rm18.
The park consists of :
coco beach which is the wave pool,
penguin Island is the kids slide area,
three top hill slide which is a 6 lane racer and it is the longest in Malaysia,
and jungle farm with displays of animals such as snakes, rabbits and peacocks.
However the weather is a bit cloudy.
After we play about 1 hour, it started to rain .
That is a sad thing, we have not play enough yet.
Hope we can be there next time .

Swimming

Hhmm.. how many of you know swim ?
I think there are many.
Frankly, I do not know how to swim. * don't laugh at me*
The last time I could swim a little is when I was a kid.

I always know that I should learn swim because I know if you are a successful person but one day you fall into the pool or sea and drown, is a awful thing.
It was like " Oh man, you know everything but do not know swim !" for me.
Alright , alright ..now I am learning to breath in the water at first.
My friend teach me that first thing to learn is breathe .
Actually , I tried a few times to figure out how to breathe .
Luckily , at last I known breath and float.
I tried to swim near the edge so that if anything happen I can still hold the wall.
After few times practices, I am able to breath in the water while I swim within a short distance.
But I just couldn't stay long inside the water due to the water pressure.
Finally I get to figure a little bit about swimming, hope I can do better next time.

Last Sunday was a friend's birthday. She is a person which I know in church.

With a long hair (not really long, but longer than me), a pair of glasses in black frame, a really white skin, this is the first impression she gave me. She always speaks fast, and wearing a big smile in her face every day.

On Sunday, she went to church with us (usually she is not with us), then I got a letter from another person and let me write something on it. It's a birthday card for her. But we do this secretly, she felt a little sad, because she knew we are doing something, but didn't want to tell her. After we all wrote on the card, then we gave her. She was very surprise and happy.

After service, we went to the Wongkok Restaurant near our church to have our dinner. Because of the birthday girl, we have a giant cup of milk tea to share for nine people.I did not know this rule which if there is a person who birthday, then the Wongkok Restaurant will give a giant cup of milk tea. Then the other group of our friends also came to say "Happy Birthday" to her. And we took photo together.

This is a three person rock band in New York, USA. Their first album Aim and Ignite which is launched in year 2009 did not caught much attention then. The band only began to rise and quickly rushed to the top when their single We Are Young, in its second album Some Nights was featured in a Chevrolet Super Bowl ad and also covered on Fox's Glee. The first week after the released of the song approach 29 millions downloads and quickly became No.1 on USA Billboard's Hot 100 charts. They found actress Janelle Monae which was once nominated in Grammy Award to sing parts in it.

Today, I do not have class, so I and Sing Rui went to One-U to watch movie and buy something we need.When we arrived at One-U, there was a little rainy. So we walked fast into the building, and thought about what we do first.

In fact, we both did not have breakfast, so we went to eat our brunch, McD, first. Not as usual, just a little people lined up for buying food. So we got our food quickly, and found a seat to eat. About 45 minutes, we finished our brunch and went to the cinema to buy our ticket. Also, so little people that we can just go to the counter to buy tickets, and not need to queue up. John Carter, the movie we watched which started at 2:30 P.M. and ended at 4:30 P.M. Before the movie started, we went to buy our mobile chines, buy some trinkets,and also buy a gift for our friend. Then we went to watch movie. After finishing the movie, we went to buy some clothes and a pair of shoes. We also went to Jusco to buy some food. Then we went back to school by our friend's car and had our dinner in cova and back to our own dormistries.

This is my whole day, a little tired but so happy.

Hot Air Balloon Festival 2012

Since year 2009 , Malaysia held the Hot Air Balloon Festival every year.
And this year 2012 is the 4th year .
The event is held at Monumen Alaf Baru , Precinct 2, Putrajaya from
15th-18th March 2012 at 7am-9pm .
Throughout the years , the event seem to gain interest from the public and media.
This unique event not only include Malaysia , also include neighbouring countries .

After a long day of hard work , it is really great to hang out at here.
Perhaps , the period is school holiday , it will be a great weekend for family attraction.
Besides the hot air balloon ride , there are also zorbing (water orb) , Para Motor exhibition ,
helicopter joy ride ,paintball , pocket bike and also fireworks on Saturday night.
Just for your information , only 300 tickets up for selling daily for the hot air balloon ride
and it is RM10 per person .

As if I got a chance , I wish I could be there.
But I really don't like too crowded place and the traffic jam because I am sure a lot of people will go there .

Share A Movie--Salt

I decided to watch this movie from all series of movie yesterday night just because of Angelina Jolie. She is the protagonist in this movie and the character she acts is Salt which is the name of this movie.

This movie mostly is about a Russian spy which is Salt. She doesn’t work for her country, but work for a Russian man which adopts orphans since they are child. He is actually the man who killed the child’s parents. He trains all the children to become a spy, he teaches them how to use bombs and firearms as well as pistol.

The movie started when Salt is been exchanged out of the North Korea’s prison and works as a CIA in United States. She has a husband which study about spiders and published a book too about spider who is Michael. He loves Salt and be willing to take risk to be with her although he knows that be with Salt will not be safe.

Move to her work place, in a CIA building, she was interrogate a criminal which is her god father—the man who adopts her since she was a kid. The man tells the true identity of her and notifies her that her husband was caught. She called her husband but no response. She wanted to find her husband but her colleague refused and locked her in the questions room to wait for a decision.

This makes her anger and escape to find her husband. Her god father then gives her a mission to kill the Russian’s president which coming to US. Their goal of mission is actually want to give rise to a war between these two strong countries. She plot against the Russian’s president and went back to Russia to find his god father. Her god father says to give a surprise, he killed Salt’s husband in front of Salt. Salt pretends to be calm and feel nothing to her husband.

She revenge lastly by killing everyone in the who works for her god father and of course her god father too, is be killed. She went back to America which the US’s president is there, she found that her supervisor killed everyone in the meeting room and tried to launch a war using the fingerprint of the president. She killed him and stops him from launching the war, but others thought she was the one who did crime.

Salt then was take to a helicopter and be monitoring by her previous colleague. He asked her the reason and believed in her. He pretends to be angry because Salt killed his supervisor and let her go from the helicopter to the sea. The movie ends to show that Salt was alive and running in the forest.

I was impressed by the courage of Salt in taking risk to help someone although she knew that she would be suspect and be list as wanted. The story really attracted me on how a spy survives after her identity is exposed. Lastly, I really suggest those who have not see this movie can take a chance to watch. It really worth it.

I first met her was in 2007 during my summer school holiday. I went to the tuition center as usual for additional mathematics class. She walked into the class gracefully. All of us looked at her because of her beauty. She has big brown eyes, long and black hair, small and juicy lips, fair skin tone and wearing a red tight dress which show her good body figure. She is our new classmate—Wendy.

Wendy walked across the classroom and sat beside me. I was so surprised that she decided to sit with me and smiled at me friendly. She looked so attractive to me. We started to talk and always be together in the class. I was actually very weak at additional mathematics and Wendy helped me a lot that she was really good at additional mathematics. She said that she was actually here to look after her little sister who was having tuition next door.

The reason which she influenced me was her attitude in study and also for life. I was still a kid that hate study like most of the peers but Wendy was totally different. When our relationship became better and better, she start to lecture me to be more serious towards life and study. At first, I ignored her lectured and advised. As time pass by, I was influenced by her and became more serious towards study and life.

Wendy always said that time passed would not turn back, cherish every second. She left the tuition center after a year when her and her family migrated to America and we lost contact after that.

I am a university student now and I really want to thank Wendy who influences me a lot to study hard. If Wendy did not appeared in my life, I think I will continue my life just like the pass, playing and never mention about my studies. Although we never meet or contact each other anymore, the phrase that she always said was the motive power to me to be serious to life and my study as well.

Chinese Custom

Most Chinese people have the experience of treating somebody to a meal or being treated to a meal. Weddings, funeral, birthday, even archive something can be the reason to treat someone a meal.Why Chinese people like to treat others frequently? It is not the deliciousness of the meal that they care, it is the atmosphere where friends and families get to gather together that Chinese people care for.

Chinese people is the ethnic that loves to treat others most.From paying the taxi fare to paying for the meals, they are always rushing to pay. And this looks strange for the Westerners. Correct me if I am wrong, I didn't see before any Westerners rushing to pay and it is natural for them to pay for what they eat themselves.

For those stingy misers, this custom suffer them.When everybody is rushing to pay for the fees, they will fell embarrassed for not "grabbing" the bill. But they often do not insist hard so that they can actually let others pay and not feeling embarrassed. But there is situation where a stingy miser actually meet another stingy miser.When he say he wanted to pay, the other person just let him pay. This is the bitter part for stingy misers.

Actually, is this custom really a good custom? Can we really kept in touch with friends through treating them to meals? Those who are being treated may actually feel bitter in their heart because they have to treat others back again in order not to owe them. In fact, this belief is only making us seeking for trouble. The most simple way is not treating others and not letting others to treat you. Just ignore the "treating back " customs and if everybody is like this, they will have their natural characteristics back and our society can have lesser hypocritical behavior.

The LORAX

I went to watch a movie name "The LORAX" with my cousin and a friend yesterday. Actually, I thought it was the movie about the cat "Garfield", so I went to see this. But when the movie started, I realized that it is not about Garfield, it was just a cartoon.I felt very boring, but still watching the movie. Keeping on watching that movie, I became more interested in this movie.

It was a cartoon about the city which do not have any tree, so their air is not fresh. The little boy, Ted, lives in this city, because the girl he likes wants to have a tree. Then he asks his grandmather about the trees, and finds out the person which his grandmother told to him who knows more about the trees. This man called the Once-ler. The Once-ler tell him a story about why the trees disappear in this world. Because of his greed, he cut down all the trees to make the clothes for his bussiness, and make his families and friends left him. Then he find out he was wrong, but he do not have the passion to plant the trees again, but keep the seed in hand.

He pass the seed to Ted and let him grown this seed in the clearest place in the city which everyone can see. There was a bad guy in this city which is selling the fresh air to make a live. He obstructs Ted to plant the seed. And Ted fought with him and planted the seed successfully. And the city become more freshly.

I love this movie because it tell us it is important to plant more trees to make the earth better. So, let's start to plant trees right now!

The Last Song

I've been reading this book recently that I hardly found out in the bookstore .
The Last Song is wrote on year 2009 by Nicholas Sparks ,
the famous writer who live in North Carolina , United States.

The story began with a seventeen year-old girl name Ronnie Miller sitting on her bed and thinking what she have had done for the whole summer in Wrightsville Beach , her father place .
Ronnie's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington .
She is rebellious , who resents her parents for their messy divorce .
And she is particularly annoyed that she is being forced to spend the summer with her estranged father, to whom she has not spoken in three years.
But she had no choice , Ronnie's mum drove her and her younger brother , Jonah all the way to find their dad .

After arrival , Ronnie becomes miserable and offensive ,
she did not want to talk even a word with her dad.
But the little Jonah seem to be happy and curious about living beside the beautiful beach.
No matter how rebellious is Ronnie , she still loves her little brother much.
Days by days , Ronnie began to change from the New York girl to a girl-next-door .
She met a handsome guy , Will Blakelee who crashing into her during a volleyball match in a carnival .
They met each other , discovered and make a protection for a sea turtle nest and fall in love .

Everything looks fine until her father collapses with a cough seizure that evening.
She realizes that he had been diagnosed with cancer long before her summer visit .
Then , she decides to start spending more time with her father since he is unlikely to survive any longer.
She continues working on her father's song that he composed with the title "Ronnie".
When she finally plays the last chord, she looks up to see that Steve had died while listening to her play and is heartbroken.
Ronnie knows how wonderful her father is although she could not use words to describe him.

The story is heart touching and lovely .
Nicholas wrote it lively and everything seem to be so real.

When pressure became a daily routine for us, it's time for us to slow down .I have learned to calm down and to relieve myself in my stressful college life. I hope to have a natural life and I will not force myself so hard to do something that I don't like anymore.I cannot change my fate so I will just do along with what fate has decided for me. Someone said before that women is made of water and man is made of mountain.I think I will live as river from now on because I can flow freely into the arms of ocean without bothering others that do not like me.

Life is so memorable and so beautiful.When a stranger smile and greets with you, why not greet ourselves with a warm smile? Disguising ourselves is a tiring thing to do.I believed that life is fair. There will be good times and bad times. All we shall do is to wait for the good time.Actually, everything has their good and bad, it depends on one's point of view.

I heard that a fish has only 7 seconds of memory in its life. They will not remember anything after seven seconds,so it is not dull for them even in their small aquarium life.If only I can become a fish. Person I have encountered with, things that I have done can all be evaporated and life will be so much easier to live.

I don't do anything deliberately anymore so I am not tired.I am learning to be good to myself, love myself and love my life. Forgive whoever makes me angry and tolerate with them.Be myself.

Doraemon World 2012

 On 23Jan to 5 Feb, there was a Doraemon World at outdoor Arena of Stars , Genting Highlands.
It was a sudden decision since heard many of my friend went there.
By the time we reached was almost late noon, so we decided to stay and go to the carnival the next morning.
The ticket price for adult is RM35 while child is RM 30.
However, with the ticket, we can queue and get a Doraemon edition of Tounch n Go card for free.
Before going in, we are divided into group to get in there.
One time is about 10 people and luckily the crowd was little.
We walked inside carefully because of the dim light and we need to walk down the staircase.
Every group was lead by a crew, he told us not to go near every statues because all of them was all the way import from Japan. All the statue are expensive because the are made from fibre, it might costs up to thousand ringgit.
Then, there are stalls that sell doraemon t-shirt , badge, stationary,ice cream and many more.
We walk around and took photos with all the statues.
Then, we go to outdoor for the Doraemon performance.
They began with some contests first.
Then all of the characters inside the Doraemon cartoon came out with their costumes.
Looking at them dancing is fun though.

KL Trip

Yesterday, I went to KL with friends . We went to a memorial park for the solders in World War II, a park which around a lake, KLCC, Central Market and Petaling Street.

The park which around a lake made us walk very far under the big sun, and cannot find the way out. It is so big that make us tired and thirsty. And many mosquitoes bite me, itchy and painful.

Then we find out the road, and go to a crowded restaurant for our lunch. It was post on the newspaper, and the meal is good to wait for the seat.

After finishing lunch, we went to KLCC to watch the good view and buy something we need. In this part, we met a Korean. He told us that he travelled to KL alone and we made friends with him. But he had to stay in KLCC until 6 P.M. for travelling the street between KLCC. So we said good bye and went to another place, Central Market.

In Central Market, we went around, and I bought a bracelet. It's so nice.

After eating the desert they bought to eat, we went to Petaling Street for our dinner. A restaurant which is famous for their fried hokkien mee. Also the same as the restaurant we have eaten in the afternoon, there were so many people.

When finishing our dinner, we back to school and went to One-U to watch movie.

A very tired day it is! But a very happy day it is also.
