Home sweet home!

Finally, I am back home. I will always remember the first time I went home alone sitting bus from Segi, I feel so grown up. I did not ever take public buses alone even in my hometown and I had actually went back home alone successfully all the way from Segi. Every time I stepped out of the bus, I sense a special feeling tingling in my heart.I feel that I belong to ths city which is my hometown and I feel that I finally can raise my head up. I am not scared of being lost in my hometown and I feel the sense of security even though I am alone.

Staying alone in a unfamiliar city makes me feel desolate.That's why when I stepped out of the bus that brought me back to where I belongs to, every familiar things I saw makes me feel warm and touched. School buses rambling with students from my previous school, stalls with the person I had known since I was a child, roads and restaurants, simple everything makes me feel touched. I miss my friends, my home and my families especially.

I had not tasted home cooked food for such a long time and when I ate it just now, cooked specially for me by my grandmother with my favourite dishes, I feel so blissful. I am being proctected and I knew that I am not alone.University life makes me grew up quickly. My grandmother said that I am more mature in my thoughts and behaviors. That's a good thing because everyone have to grow up.But sometimes, I don't feel like growing up. If only I can, I hope to be a children forever, not having anything to troubled for.

I always feel happy when I am going home. In my hometown, I can drive myself everywhere not having to wait for buses.I can stay up late at night and wake up whenever I want in the morning.I can sleep in my queen size bed with my dolls surrounding me. I can take my time bathing and I do really enjoy meeting with old friends and eating out with families in my favourite restaurants.I love my home, my family, my friends, my cats, and everything that is in my hometown. Every single thing.There is no place that could replace my home.

Religion

            Everyone has a religion, no matter you are or not a free-thinker, you still have your own religion. There are many different religions in the world and the most popular one are Christian, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism which most of the people believe.

            Defined by the dictionary, religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as a creation of a superhuman agency, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

            In all the religion, embracer believes in supernatural forces which can be divided into human origin and nonhuman origin. Human origin supernatural forces refer to the ancestral spirit and ghost. Ancestral spirit is the dead relatives to a family. While in nonhuman origin supernatural forces are gods and spirit. Human usually worship them and pray to them to seek relieve anxiety and uncertainly.

            Furthermore, due to there are gods or goddess in all religions, most of the embracers believe in immortality. Humans normally wanted to become immortality and started to find magic to make this wish come true. This is because human wanted to become extra-ordinary and to live forever.

            In conclusion, I believe that religion forms is because of the need of community to comfort human’s anxiety and uncertainly. Without a religion, human might feel sorrow when there are problems, disaster, accident, and illness come to human. As a result, human will hardly survive until today without a religion.

Working

            Working is a process that almost everyone will pass through, except those who are too rich or died too early. It was the longest process in a human’s life. Compare to studying and retiring, it is also the toughest process.

            As a college student like me, although I get pocket money from my parents to live on in a new and unfamiliar place, I work to earn more and safe more for my future. I used to think that working is easy; they do not have to learn new things and just do the same thing every day to get salary. I knew I was wrong when the first time I worked.

            It was 4 years ago, I work as a sushi chef in one of the kiosk in Tesco. I need to be there every morning at 6 o’clock, it was tiring and suffering for me. Then, I changed to work as a promoter in a fashion shop, I thought it will be easier by just introduce clothes. But I was wronged again, besides selling, I need to clean the floor and iron all the clothes.

            Just a month working had made me feel tiring and wanted to go back to school. Now I know adults working are very tough and will appreciate my parents who work hard for our family.

Tsagaan Sar

Tsagaan Sar is a celebration celebrated by Mongolians. It is a celebration of New Year, addition of age and safe ending of winter for animals. Tsagaan Sar is celebrated on the white month, which is the first day of spring in Mongol. It is also a festival of white food. Tsagaan Sar represents a heartfelt spirit of people. On this day, people clean their body and mind from all bad things and start a new fresh clean life. Tsagaan Sar is the day when people express respect to elder people and relatives, renew friendship and sympathy to each other and reconfirm family ties.

The Tsagaan Sar eve or the last day of winter is called "Bituun", which means "full darkness". It is a single night when no moon is visible in the sky. On this day people eat to be really full. It is believed that if you stay hungry, you will be hungry all the coming year around. All the Bituun ceremony is supposed to start when it gets dark outside.

On the first day of the New Year, people get up early before sunrise, wear new clothes, open the "Orkh" (ger’s top window cover) and make a fire. Tsagaan Sar signifies the beginning of spring. Although steppes are still covered with snow, the scent of spring is already in the air. The coming year’s weather is analyzed based on animals' mood and behaviour as well as other signs of nature. All men go to the top of a nearby hill or mountain carrying food and make a pray to the Nature and the State. Then, men go to certain directions prescribed by the Buddhist horoscope. This ceremony is called “muruu gargakh”, which means “starting your footprints”. It is believed important to start your way in the right direction on the first day of the New Year as prescribed by your lunar horoscope in order to be lucky all year round.          

With the sunrise, the greeting ceremony starts inside the family. The oldest person stays in "Hoimor" (ger’s northern side) and younger family members greet him or her first and then greet each other. The younger greets the older by extending arms with palms up and holding the elder’s arms from underneath. Everybody greets each other except husband and wife. Usually, people hold "Khadag"(long and narrow piece of yellow, white or blue silk with a spiritual meaning) in their arms.

When the greeting ceremony is over, everyone sits behind the table and starts exchanging "Khoorog" (a snuff bottle made usually of semi-precious stones and filled with finely pulverized tobacco). Exchanging Khoorog means expressing friendly intentions to each other and is usually the starting point of introducing a stranger. Exchanging Khoorog creates a warm atmosphere between people and makes the start of a friendly talk that helps to learn the true heart of the stranger. People eat lot of "Booz" (steamed Mongolian dumplings) and drink "Airag" (fermented mare’s milk). When the ceremony finishes in the family, the hosts give presents to each person. The present symbolizes a wish for wellbeing, health, wealth and power. Everyone moves to the next family starting with the next oldest person's ger first. The Tsagaan Sar celebration can continue for a month, but the first, second and third days are the most important.

 Rebecca Saxe studies how we think about other people's thoughts. At the Saxelab at MIT, she uses fMRI to identify what happens in our brains when we consider the motives, passions and beliefs of others.

Sensing the motives and feelings of others is a natural talent for humans. But how do we do it? In this speech, Rebecca Saxe shares fascinating lab work that uncovers how the brain thinks about other peoples' thoughts -- and judges their actions.

In her speech, she mentions that there is a part of brain that do the work to figure out others thought. It’s called the Right Temporo-Parietal Junction.

The second thing talked by Rebecca is the brain system. Although we adults are really good in understanding other minds, we were not always that way. It really takes time for children to develop.

She talks about the change of minds of people when growing older n older in understanding others mind.

She gave an example of the understanding others in children btw age 3, 5 and 7.

The story of a pirate name Ivan put his favorites cheese sandwich on the pirate chest n went away to get a drink. Suddenly a wind blows n Ivan’s sandwich is blew to the grass. Then, another pirate call Joshua came n put his cheese sandwich on the pirate chest n went away to get a drink too. When Ivan came back, he took the sandwich on the pirate chest that is belongs to Joshua.

The question is: was Ivan to be blame for taking the others sandwich?

The 3-year old boy thinks that Ivan is to blame not to take his sandwich and the boy think that Ivan is to avoid taking the dirty sandwich which is his.

While the 5year old boy understand that he will take the sandwich but he think Ivan should be blame too although he doesn’t know.

Lastly, the 7 year old boy thinks that the wind should be blame that the wind exchanges the sandwich.

Children have their own understanding but still differ from adult using their right TPJ.

First, I think this is a successful speech. The speaker has a good gesture and keeps eye contact with the audience. Her tone was soft. The audiences often laugh throughout the speech.

I agree with Rebecca especially on this paragraph.

“We have a special brain system that lets us think about what other people are thinking. This system takes a long time to develop, slowly throughout the course of childhood and into early adolescence. And even in adulthood, differences in this brain region can explain differences among adults in how we think about and judge other people.”

I really think that this is a successful speech n I agree with Rebecca Saxe.

Gay Right

Before Dr. Elizabeth Moberly publishes her theory，most of the psychologist and psychiatrist believe that homosexual form is because they have close relationship with the oppose sex parent, and this cause they be approve by the same sex parent but not the oppose sex parent. For example, gay will have the same characteristic with their mother, finding protection from man. These psychologist and psychiatrist’s statistic shows that most of the gays’ mothers dote on them, their mothers also have independence and strong characteristic. On the other hand, their fathers are usually introversion, serious, relationship with child is not close, even drift apart.

However, Dr Elizabeth thinks that a homosexual person be approve by their oppose sex parent is the effect but not the cause. She thinks the cause of homosexual is because the relationship between a person and his or her same sex parent breaks, they may hope to involve in homosexual relationship to make up this regret.

You may ask what are the reasons that cause a son to have loose relationship with his father? There are many answers. The most seen cause, is when their father is too busy working for money, they don’t have time to spent with kids, as a long term result, the relationship between father and son may be loosen. Or maybe some reasons made some fathers don’t really like their own son, for example their son are too stubborn, or blame their son when their business failed. But most of the time is because the son his own problem. Some children are too sensitive, maybe are not because their fathers don’t love them, but are because they can’t feel the love from their father, so they will automatic stay away from their father. In some family, one son may be homosexual while the other is totally normal. One of the answer, it is cause by the characteristic of the children. For example, a son may be more mature that he understands his father is busy working and have no time for him, but not because his father doesn’t love him. While another son may be more sensitive that he can’t accept that his father stays apart from him. Another reason may because both of the sons accept different level of love from their father and this cause mental problem.

We believe that a boy from the born, if wanted to become a real man, except having the love from his mother as well as seeing the close relation between his parents in the family; he should have close relationship with his father. As a boy, father is the true role model. Only his father can let him be proud of his own gender, he needs the approval from his father, as well as his father love, care and approve. Without all of this, he will be lost, no direction and the feeling of safety.

Most of the gay is because some reasons cause they can’t get the approval from same sex parent: on the contrary, they get all the approval from the oppose sex parent, these causes he might have girlish behave.

Normally, children will be very good with the same sex friend at young age. When they are in secondary school, because of growth, they will have sex impulse; many children will have interest towards the opposite sex. On the other hand, many gay because are drift apart from the same sex friend, or their behavior are girlish, makes them continue to have interest towards the same sex. In this case, they will have no interest at all towards the opposite sex. And because of growth, they might use the same sex friend to be their sex fantasy person.

I believe that, gay seek for love and close relation from the same sex friend has no wrong at all and is needed. Gay because of some reason and drift apart from their father, had cause they don’t get love, encourage, understanding and approval from their father, to replace this regret, besides repairing the relationship with father, they still need to make up a healthy and close relation with same sex friends, learn to control and avoid the same sex relation become romantic.

For most of the reason, because of religion, people might think that homosexual is very evil or a crime, scared to have relation with them, some of the parents even don’t allowed their child to mix with homosexual friend. As I said just now, they don’t really want to become a gay or lesbian, try to understand and accept them. Gay is not a crime!!

Yahoo....At this moment 20 April 2012 2:55am i am atill awake..Why?? Beside finishing up this blog assignment i am also waiting my time to fligh to china Shen Zhen and also Hong Kong. My flight will be at 6:30am in the morning and i just dont dare to go into sleep as i worry that i will overslept. after almost 5 years of not going for any overseas trip. Finally i can go and have a break and relax myself. I feel very exciting and also waiting the time to come. By the way,this week will also be the last week of this spring semester. next week will also start our final exam before holiday. so lets work hard also for  our final guys.. good luck to everyone..

Everyone have their mom.so do i. Mom is the most lovely person who everyone of us love them but there are some of them who didn't treat their mom good.But of cause im the one who love my momthe most.She often cares me when I was sick. Encourage me when I was deeply down.Give me advices all the time what should I do in the future. She needs to work early in the morning at 9am to 6pm. When reach home in the evening, she couldn't rest but she needs to cook for our dinner and do housework. I can feel that she is very tire on this kind of daily routine.so I wish I could earn more money to help her out by employing a maid for her in future.so that at least can decrease her burden.

     I wish to have a holiday to Paris. Paris will be a wonderful and modern country wish I have dream to go for a long time. I like modern and branded stuffs which paris is full of branded cloths and bag. Besides, paris have a nice and beautiful scenery which make me feel so admire. I wish I could have a holiday there to have a relax moment there. I will go shop to buy allthose branded stuffs for my parents and of cause for myself too as is too expensive to buy branded stuffs in Malaysia. Besides,I also hope to enjoy their lifestyle there. I wish by next year I can manage to go Paris for a travel

Dreams...

     Dreams,Dreams,Dreams!!!! What is dream??Everyone also have their own dreams and they wish their dreams come true.So same as me,I also have a dream.My dream is to be a millionaire when I 25.But how to make my dream come true?? That is the question. By working as a employee,Is impossible to become millionaire when you are 25 or even when you are 40s or 50s also impossible to be a millionaire. The only way to become a millionaire is to own a self business or a career. For me,I am 18 now.i am still studying at college now but on the same time I start to own my own career and business. I am working in Hong Leong as a servicing agent.But in two years will be promoted to Unit Manager and which means that I will start to have my own business and a career.Actually is also good to own a self business and career. At least we work for ourselves and better than working for others as a employee. So to make sure your dream come true.Try to own a career and business!!

Mindset.

How I think will determine how I live. Do you agree or disagree?One person mindset is very important to determine how is the person going to sustain in the life. If a person have a strong positive mindset and determine enough then the person can sustain and be a successful person in his life.Actually everyone face obstacles and it's a very normal thing and what we need to do is not to give up but try to find a solutions out to solve the problem. But if a person doesn't have a positive thinking and give up easily once face any problem then they cant see their future.They will only know how to complain this and that but not even try to solve the problem then how to be a successful people in this world?? This is what I get to learn from my company and as a sales person is really important to have a strong and positive mindset.Only by thinking positive we can succeed in our life.

Sacrifice??

What is the define of sacrifice?? Actually how only counted as sacrifice?? or how only known as sacrfice? For me sacrifice means we volunteer to helpsomeone or even sacrifice for them without asking anything in return. But today i guess in such a realistic world,i guess hardly got people will sacrifice for others.usually they will only think or even sacrifice for themselves rather than other right？i dunoe whether u all agree about this a not but for me this is how i feel la... to be honest actually for me i am also a selfish person who only think of myself i guess. i really wont care about others unless the person is really important to me. for me there are two kind of friends,one kind is just a hi-bye friend and one kind is a friend we can treats as like a brother. in my life beside my family i guess i only have two brothers that i really treat them sincerely as they are just like my big brother and part of my family. i always get their support,motivation and console when i was in abad mood or even negative. They have never give up on me although i guess they are tire. to be honestly ,i really thanks to god that i have suchs great brothers around me.My life is very meaningful by having them as part of my life.. For them i really dont mind how much i sacrifice. i will do whatever i can when they need my support or help..

My Dream House

     Everyone have their own dream house.So same as me. I do have a dream house in my mind too.But how to make our dreams house become a real dream?? My dream house is susppose to be a big land.And I can build a huge glass house of 4 storey with a lift inside. Ground floor there will be a huge living room with a mini fish pond. Kitchen of cause cannot miss out as is heaven for my mom. On the first floor,I would like to have one master bed room for myself only. Inside my bathroom there will be a jaguzhi  and the toilet will be build by mirror. On the second floor,there will be a warm and nice bedroom for both of my parents to stay. On the third floor, there will be a gym room for me to have my daily exercise.So that I can build up my muscles and can look more muscular. Besides,I love dogs. So outside of my house there will be a huge garden for my dogs to have their activities there. But of cause there will also be a small little garden for my dad to have his plantation there as he love to plants. I really hope my dream house can become true one day by building up myself.

My Baby..

Hahahahahaahaha... can you guys guess who is my baby??? My baby is actually a puppy la. I love dogs especially those small little cute puppy. Let me tell u guys how i get my baby. when i was form 3 that time after my PMR i start working as a part time. and after get to save some money i get myself a toy poodle. His name is joe. he is just so cute an adorable. I always and used to talk to him when the time i was very emo and down. i dont know why but i just feel that he understands what am i talking about. he will keep quiet and not moving just lye beside me and listen to me. and he will also do something to make me laugh and happy. He is just like my son that i will alays tell myself, " is ok that i lost everything as long as i still got joe be with me. i couldnt imagine what i will feel and be when he left me one day but what i know now is to appreciate it and the moment he be with me....

TOLERATE!!!

One of my lecturer give me a question to answer. The question is if one of ur friend broke up with his girl friend after 3 years together how are you going to advice him?? Actually at first i wasnt really know how to answer it. I stunned for a while and think about it.Cause actually i wasnt really do well in handling my own relationship problem too. i always choose to avoid about this sort of things. But today when i really seriously think about this question. i answered this question. Actually in our long life time, there isnt everything also as what we expect and what we wish to have. Just like we ill have happy moments also sad moments. we will have problems in works or maybe family issue. in human nature life no one is perfect neither the world we are living in. Nothing is perfect in the world. What we should always have to do is to tolerate tolerate and tolerate. By tolerate we can only actually last long in our relationship or maybe in our career and many more. Is not really easy to maintain a relationship without tolerating.Even after marry is still a need to tolerate!! Tolerate is the key to maintain the relationship.if we couldnt learn to tolerate each other and care about each other feelings then how are we gonna stay together forever until the day we die?? i can say that is impossible!!! As i said nothing is perfect, and what we can really do is to learn from time to time and change ourself from time to time to be better and better. i strongly believe that what we do today is what we will get in future. everyone was born as a baby until a teenager until old age and leave the world. life is really short and we really hard to find a prson that we like and be together. so when really get into it we should learn how to accept each other and also tolerate. Appreciate and cherish things around us before everything is too late!!!!

Opportunity To Succeed

DO you guys ever hear before about OTS???? Actually OTS stand for Opportunity To Succeed.Is a company that i am currently working.How come my boss come out with the company name is because he hope that everyone also can get an opportunity to success in this world. Actually we know that a lot of employee they are still working and getting a salary of maybe 4 to 5 thousand a month to survive. But in my company, actually we have an opportunity for everyone. Basically we dont really need a degree or master holder. we just need someone who is really passion,loyalty and positive spirit. By having this few criteria actually even if they are just SPM qualification our company door will be open and welcome them to join us. My boss is 34 this year if not mistaken. He started to work as a G.E insurance agent and after that convert to Hong Leong Assurance. He has been in this industry since he was 18 and today after 15 years of effort he actually get what he wants and dream to have or can be say as even more than what he expected. And 6 years ago he create a company name OTS and today our agency can be counted as the biggest agency in Hong Leong Assurance. The reason he created this company is that he hope and wish that every people that willing to can be successful like him one day. In this such a realistic world, i believe a lot of people or even company will always think of themselves first before thinking about others. Is really selfish but this is the truth. But today i can say that i am really proud that i am one of OTS members because i get a bunch of buddies there which they really treat people sincerely without thinking of benefit or not. I also get what i wish to have and be an independent guy which doesnt need to depends to parents.

Running man

Recently, Running man is quite famous in Asian .
Running man is a popular variety show from South Korea.
Every episode, they have new mission, new rival and of course new places to challenge.
All the guests must complete mission in a landmark to win the race.
For my thought, this variety show is as interesting as " The Amazing Race".
I love watching this two variety show because every episode is special and different.

The rules are like this, every guests have their name tag at their back. Once their name tag being tear, they will be eliminate. Therefore, throughout the race they have to complete mission and alert of their name tag.
Throughout those episode I watched, some episode have spy and they need to eliminate all the guests one by one to win the race even their group mate.
That sounds really exciting as no one know the whole mission.
They can only know the mission after they finish their task in different place.
The episode I like the most is when their guests are BIGBANG ( the famous band in korea ) !
They even came to the starting point by helicopter !

Today, I went to One-Utama with my cousin.When he finished his work, he came to find me, but because of the rain in KL, he was late. Then he said he was hungry, and I also, so we ate our dinner in Cova Square, Bintang, which my usually eating place. After we finished the diet, we went to One U and it started to rain here.

On the way to One U, there was a big traffic jam which made us use more time to reach there. And we not only used almost 30 minutes to park his car, but also parked it in old wing which far away from the cinema (I find out that every time he goes to One U with me, he would use many time to find parking. Is it my unlucky or the parking in One U is less?). 

When walking in the Old Wing, we saw a car show which made us really exciting and quickly went and watch it. He taught me something about the function of the car, and the different in the cars. We also discussed about the cars and talked something about the car we both like. 

Then we go to the cinema flour, and play snooker. Actually, he taught me for so long time ago, but I also do not play well until two weeks ago, my other friends taught, and I can make the ball go inside to the hole. Firstly, we used such around 10 minutes to goal the first ball by me. Then I was in the lead to my cousin, but he came up really fast. But in the end, I was really lucky to goal the black ball and win him. I think he gave me the chance to win and be more confidence.

Finally, we watch a movie named "Dark Flight" which is the Thailand Ghost Film with his friends. I was not feeling horrific, but frighten by my cousin. 

After finishing the movie, he sent me home and met his friends which just watched movie which us to do other things.

Drama presented by SEGi’s students

            I struggled whether to watch this drama or not which was acted by SEGi’s students. I admit that I really distrust their acting and story before I watch the drama. At last, I went with my friend who involved in this play. The drama is called “Love is…”.

            The play delayed for more than half an hour from the time they set, it was so annoying that this habit had became one of the common bad habit in Malaysian.

            The drama than started with a woman called Linda with a child and her mother in the scene. Then, a flash back in Linda’s memory started when a thunder sound bang.

            Linda first met a boy name Rajiz in her college life. Rajiz fell in love with Linda when they first met and helped her and her friend from a group of teenagers who are disturbing them. This had attracted Linda’s attention. Then, their relation increased along the way with the help of Rajiz’s friend.

            On the birthday of Linda, she invited Rajiz to her party. The most attractive part in this drama appears, a group of girls performing belly dance to celebrate Linda’s birthday. When it is time to say goodbye, Rajiz proposed to Linda and embraced her.

            The part where Linda and Rajiz hugged was found out by Linda’s family who are close-minded. She was scolded by all her family members except her mother. Linda had no resolution but only stay away from Rajiz. Rajiz was so sad and promised to wait for Linda even Linda wanted him to continue his life without her.

            Back to reality, Linda with her adopted daughter, Siti went for picnic in a garden where she met Rajiz again after 6 years. Rajiz had not forgotten her but when he saw Siti, before Linda could explain anything, he turned away. This had made regret.

             As my opinion, this drama is quite attractive and interesting. Human can’t live without love and love may be explained in different way by different person. I think, love is giving, love is caring, love is sacrificing.

Titanic 3D

            To fulfill my regret, I went to watch this movie in the cinema on the first day of this movie launch. It was a huge crowd at the cinema to watch this classic movie.

            It start with a group of people go under the sea to discover the Titanic ship to find a necklace which called the “Heart of Ocean”. Then, an old woman—Rose appeared.

           The movie then continued with the flash back of Rose which is one of the passenger of Titanic, and of course, the leading role of this movie.

            In the flash back, Titanic is a dream ship for everyone, a brand new ship which become the greatest ship ever in the history during that time. Yes, it is a dream ship for everyone, almost, except a rich girl—Rose who aboard with her fiancé and her mother. While on the other side, a poor boy name Jack luckily won a 3^rd class ticket in a gambler game to get into Titanic which everyone dreamt of. Titanic set sailed on time.

            Jack and Rose first met on the deck board of the ship and Jack was attracted by the beauty of Rose who was so far away from him. But their relationship gets close when Rose wanted to commit suicide but saved by Jack who was nearby. This had caused Rose’s fiancé--Cal jealous about him.

            As a repay for Jack to safe Rose, Cal invited him to their 1^st class passengers’ dinner, actually is to make fool on Jack. Surprising Cal, Jack acted well as a rich man. After the dinner, when all the gentlemen went to smoke, Jack secretly took Rose to the 3^rd class party. Both of them enjoy, but this was known by Cal.

            The next morning, Cal slapped and scolded Rose. She wanted to reject this marriage, but her mother do not allow because what they left now is only prestige from her father, they have no money and power anymore. To continue enjoy the world of luxury, her mother forces Rose to marry Cal. She said nothing when her mother cried and accept the deal not to meet Jack anymore.

            Although they were force not to be together, but at the end, Rose found out that she really love Jack so much. She betrayed the promised with her mother and went to Jack. When to climax of the movie reach, which the Titanic boat sank, Jack gave all his life to safe Rose out, even until all of them floating on the sea. He kept console Rose for not to give up, Rose promised and did it when a boat came back to safe those who are still alive. Rose is only the one.

            Now, although Rose already have two children with another man, Jack, the poor man that she really love and the only love is still inside her heart, her memory. Yes, what about the “Heart of Ocean”, that is the necklace given by Cal to Rose as a love token? Rose kept it until now, but she did not tell that group of people who are finding it, she threw it into the sea at the end of the movie.

            I really like this movie which content love, courage, sacrifice, and jealousy. The whole story flow is smooth and interesting which attract my attention along the whole movie. The courage of Rose to continue her life without giving up during that cold freezing weather, and the sacrifice given by Jack to Rose is memorable and great. As a conclusion, I rated this movie as one of the favorite movie of mine.

An award show

Yesterday was the last class for our Public Speaking.
And it was also our last last assignment to present.
This presentation was quite special,because it was an award show which means a pair work.
My teammate is Michelle, and few weeks ago we decided to choose "People choice award" for our presentation.

Our feelings for the day was really awful but satisfied.
The reason of awful is that the day before the presentation, we are all busy on our cultural anthropology assignments which should hand in by the next day.
Therefore, all of us could probably slept at 3 or 4 am in the morning.
And the best part is our cultural class start at 8am, which means we probably just slept 2 to 3 hours.
Arrghh .. now you know how awful it was !

By the way, Michelle and I just role play the award show once in the morning.
And when our lecturer Ms. Sawcheng ask the class to present , no one dare to stand up.
Michelle was looking at me with a steady face and said let's go.
Wow ..1ST GROUP ?  My heart was pumping fast and more faster while I stand up.
Just so you know, I am the presenter while Michelle is the receiver.
And Michelle was Julia Roberts in that award and win away "The Best Actress" of the year with the movie "Mirror Mirror" .
Although we are both nervous, but at last we done in a nice way.

I am glad that finally we done it. I felt so exhausted .
The presentation continue with other groups perform.
In that class, all the girls were wearing nice dress and guys wear coat and formal attire.
Somehow, it was a satisfied day as all of us took our last pictures together for the first and the last time.

CHOICES

CHOICES??

In our long life time,we have lots of choices. And because of too many choices for us sometimes,we didnt even know what we really want actually. That why sometimes no choice is the best choice for us.When we don't have any choice to choose , then we are force to use and do what we only have around us. Is very important for a person to be independent and know to adapt in any kind of situation or environment whenever they face any trouble or there is no choice for them to choose. I feel that nothing is perfect in this world. Today not to say  that is not good to have choices as sometimes when we have choices we can choose something that is better. For example, a better lifestyle , a better partner , a better relationship , a better job and many more. But we must always remember that never take it for granted. Peoples always take things for granted that they didnt really realize also. So, i feel that is good to have choices for us to choose but we must always remember that not to take it for granted and try to be more independent. So that no matter in what situation we also can survive even though without choices for us to choose.

My cute grandmother

This lady in the picture above is my grandmother. She is seventy this year and she is still active and healthy. She is not like other old people who stays at home whole day. She love going out with friends dancing, chatting, singing karaokay, doing exercise, tai-chi or just eating.Every Monday and Wednesday, early in the morning at 6:45, she would go to a park in my hometown with my mother and do aerobics with friends there.Every tuesday afternoon, she drives herslf  to a multi purpose hall with her Cantonese group friends and practiced singing there.Every Thursday and Friday night, she will go learning dancing with another group of friends. Isn't she active? She drive herself to where she wanted to go everytime.

My grandmother has a great fashion sense. Despite her age, she like the same types of clothes as me! When my grandmother, my mother and me go shopping together, my mother will go crazy because me and my grandmother will go into every shop and look at the bags the shoes the clothes there.Even though we are not buying. We both love bags and we always share our handbags between ourself. Before my grandmother go out, she will asked me which color looks nicer on her, which jeans makes her look slim and which handbags suit her outfits.

When my grandmother is free, she will cook delicious meal for us.Sometimes, she will do cute things like a small child. I remember once when I reached home from school, she was sitting cross-legged on the floor watching cartoons movies while eating instant-noodles. I was amused by the sight and I asked her about it. And than she answer: "I just feel like eating instant noodles and watching cartoons." It really makes my day to hear that. And there was once when I was reading ghost stories on the bed and she suddenly poked at me just to scared me. And also not forgetting the time when she hide behnd corners and jumped out at me and my brother just for funs. I am now writting this blog on her computer. Her computer, I repeat it. And her computer is actually better than mine and my brother's! She really loves watching dramas on PPS and she just love to surf the net.@@

I really love the moment when we shared the same jokes together, watch horror movies together ,buy same things together and wore the same outfits. However, it would be better if my mother shared the same interest as me and my grandmother.

These days have many assignment have to hand out. We all busy on doing assignment. But for these, we also will keep joining in Live Group.

Really remember that, yesterday, our leader said when we in a team, we should do three things.

Firstly, commitment is a very important part. It means we should give priority to our team.

Second one is available. We should be always available when the team need us.

Lastly, single mind is also a part of this, which means we should only join one team in the same aspect.

These really make me feel how important each of us in the team, and what we should do for our own team. So I do more and join all the outgoing for our Live Group people gathering. They really important to me, and I also really important to them.

Happy Easter Day!

I always thought that Easter have something to do with Easter Island and the statues on it.

I attended Easter Day celebration in Hope Church this year with some friends. Only did I know what is it all about and I only knew the true meaning of Easter.Glad that I learnt it!

What is Easter?

Easter is a event that is most celebrated by Christian other than Christmas the whole year. Christians believed that Jesus came back to life or was raised from the death on the cross.As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter.

During Easter Day, easter eggs are served  mostly in the Western countries.Easter eggs are special eggs that are often given to celebrate Easter or springtime. Easter eggs  symbolize the empty tomb of Jesus. Though an egg appears to be like the stone of tomb, a bird or a chicken hatches from it with life; similarly, the Easter egg, for Christians, is a reminder that Jesus are reborn.

We really enjoyed ourselves that day.

Today is Good Friday, so we went to church and watch the movie which named "The Passion of Christ".

It talked about Jesus suffered the bad things in that day until he die.

Firstly, he was hit by the presbyters and public. He can strike back, but he didn't. So he become black and blue.

Then, he was punished get lashes, and get really hit by the executor of  baculin. It is an inhumane punishment.

Next, he get crucified. During the  crucifixion, he still prayed to Lord let him don't punish the public. Until here, I felt very touched.

Then, he gave him soul to God and died.

Finally, he brought back to life in the third day.

Home cooked food VS eating outside

This topic is for my persuasive speech today.
About a week ago, I was frustrated because all my friends had found their topic except me.
I am run out of idea and my lecturer was not satisfied with those topic that I told her.
That was really a hard time.

Finally, today I am proud to present my topic which is persuade my audience to cook at home instead of eating at outside like restaurants, cafes, or even food stalls.
This idea came out from one of my friend, thanks to him much .

Due to the hectic lifestyle nowadays, people living in the city usually eating outside for their breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and even supper. The main caused is they do not have enough time to cook at home as they work from morning until evening or night.
However, I would like to persuade them to cook at home.

Firstly, eating at outside is expensive.
Most of the restaurants including 10% service charge and 6% government tax.
It is also depends on which restaurants or cafe or food stalls you go to.
If you choose to eat at hawker stalls, one meal might cost you around RM 10.
If you choose to eat at normal restaurants, one meal might cost you around RM 25.
If you choose to eat at middle class restaurants, one meal might cost you around RM 50-100.
and what if you go to some high class restaurants to have a dinner ? I can imagine the costs . $$$
Let me give you a comparison.
If your family have 5 people, one fine dinner will costs about RM 120-200.
Do you know that one bag of 10 kg rice is about RM 20-40 ?
Therefore, your one meal can buy 5 to 6 packets of rice which can cook for at least half year.

Secondly, foods at outside might not be good in nutrition.
As far as I concern, usually all foods that sell outside is either too oily,salty and sweet.
Most of it high in calories which can cause overweight and not easily digest.
If you like steamboats, those fish balls, meat balls, seafood tofu are processed food that contain nitrates and nitrites that are preservatives to keep the food fresh for a longer period.
In human body, these preservatives increase blood flow which will cause headache.
In addition, we do not know whether the foods is clean and safe while it is preparing.
Our health maybe affected if we continue to eat outside foods.

Lastly, eating outside is time consuming.
Maybe you are wondering is it possible ?
Yes it is. Because you have to decide where to dine in, then drive to that place and find parking,
then wait to be seated, then decide what to eat , then order, then wait foods to be cook, and finally your food is here.
It is a long process if you realise.
By the way, place in city is always traffic jam, which may cost you more time.

As my conclusion, cooking at home is more likeable.
You can cook by yourself or ask someone to help you out.
While cooking you may chatting with anyone in the house or maybe make phone calls with wireless bluetooth device.
The feel of having dinner at home with all your family members is just comfortable and relax.
Everyone sitting in the round table and chatting while eating is just awesome.
I remembered my uncle said " foods that need a little fight is always taste nicer " .

Recently one of my friend in another class is depressed. Her mother was in an accident about three weeks ago in her hometown Johor. I knew it because she attend public speaking classes with me and she is also staying in hostell. I am so sorry for her because her mother  was over fifty years old and our final exams was due on next week. Her mother is now still in hospital and my friend couldn't concentrate on her studies and had to miss some classes to go back to her hometown to take care of her mother. I couldn't do anything to help her. I can only comfort her each time i saw her .Yesterday in public speaking classes, she talked with me about her mother and I could see tears rolling in her eyes. The sight makes me feel like crying too.If only I can do something to help her.

Michael Landon, an American actor once said that the moment we are born, we are already walking towards death. Therefore, we have to treat our life whole heartedly and make good use of our life every moment. Time, are actually strung together with many numerous "present". Every seconds every minutes and every hour bring the seeds of perseverance.There are many people who longed for life longevity, however I think that it is more important to live better rather than longer.

Life is unexpected.

Last day Public Speaking Class, Ms. Sawcheng who is our lecturer let us have a two minutes speech in five minutes preparation. She gave us two chances, the first one is a practice for us to be familiar with the time limit and get feeling in the speech, and the second one is for our real speech.

The first topic I picked is to persuade the college student should have a one day holiday in their birthday. I can only have a little points that when I having my speech I just can speaking for 30 seconds, and paused for 10 seconds not talking anything. I felt so nervous and cannot look at my audiences. Then I made a conclusion and quickly went back to my seat. When I went back to my seat, Ms. Sawcheng and my classmates told me what I could talk about this topic and made me feel not really nervous.

The second topic which is for my real speech is "In what situation lying is a good idea?" I have many ideas of this, because when I feel not good and do not want others to worry about me, I will lie to them saying I good, not bad or others. So I pretent to have a call from my mom and tell her I'm so good instead of I have many troubles in that time. Then tell my audiences that the reason why we have to lie sometimes, and the example in my experience. This time, I felt very fluently, and had my speech finished.

After this class, I'm not really scared to speak in front of many people. So thankful to these.

Red

Who is she? She is Hong Yi in Chinese and she called herself Red because the word "hong" means red. She is an artist but the special thing about her is she does not like to paint with brushes. She likes to grab whatever she can holds of like seeds, coffee, ketchup, balls and many others that no one know these little things can actually be used in paintings other than their ordinary uses.

What surprised me is this talented woman is a local. She was born and raised in Borneo, which was an island in Sabah. She was than graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia with a Master of Architecture degree in December 2010 and a Bachelor of Planning and Design degree in December 2007. She archived the Melbourne Abroad Scholarship and studied in Technical University of Delft in Netherlands in her final year. She is now working in Shanghai as an architect for Hassell.

Red or Hong Yi amazed the world by painting Jay Chou with coffee and painting famous basketballer Yao Ming with just a basketball. She had won many awards recently like AA prizes for Unbuilt Works in year 2010 and she was the national finalist in SONA Superstudio competition in 2009 and 2010.

I truly feel proud of her as Red is a woman and she is a 100% Malaysian.

Today, I cook a desert. It is tong shui with papaya, tremella and lotus seed.

Firstly, soaked the dried tremella, cleaned in clearly and cut it in some small pieces.

Secondly, put the tremella into a pot, and put cold water in it too.

Thirdly, used the medium heat to boil water. When it boiled, turned to the  soft fire and kept the water in a the state of boiling slightly,

Then, cleaned the papaya, removed the seeds, and cut it in small square pieces.

Next, when boiled tremella for forty minutes, put the papaya into the pot, and kept boiling for twenty minutes.

Finally, put the crystal sugar into the pot, kept boiling until the sugar melted.

Bukit Gambang Water Park

Few months ago, me and my friends went Kuantan during holiday and we also went to Bukit Gambang water park. The water park is quite far away from the town, it took us almost 1 hour to reach there.
The ticket for adult is RM28 while children is Rm18.
The park consists of :
coco beach which is the wave pool,
penguin Island is the kids slide area,
three top hill slide which is a 6 lane racer and it is the longest in Malaysia,
and jungle farm with displays of animals such as snakes, rabbits and peacocks.
However the weather is a bit cloudy.
After we play about 1 hour, it started to rain .
That is a sad thing, we have not play enough yet.
Hope we can be there next time .
